craptical - ryan riss and i do black and white drawings of an illustrative variety. it's crap + tical. and a practical anagram. i aspire to the standards of drafting and cartography. i hope to explore through means of rigorous repetition and graphical representation the potential possibilities hidden in the forms and ideas that lie often at times just beneath the surface. to deconstruct the dichotomy of reality and imagination hidden in simple still life's and portraiture. manipulating and skewing these objects formations via the exploration of warped graphics, viewing angles and repetition. a lot of this doesn't make sense- cause it's all a bit silly. it's basically psychedelic mantras for a tropical future- on repeat. i really just like to draw.
